Truman was rescued after Katrina and was shuffled around to several animal shelters before being adopted. With all he has been through I want to make sure he is always a happy and secure puppy dog. Having Catherine take care of him while I am away gives me the peace of mind that he is having fun and being well-cared for – even when I’m not around. I have found Catherine’s Critter Care to be extremely responsible and caring towards Truman each and every time. Truman is always excited to see Catherine. Plus, I love getting the email updates and knowing I can call in and check on Truman anytime I want. Catherine understands I am crazy about my baby!

I have known Catherine Perez for more than twenty years. When she came to me and said she was opening a pet care business, I was thrilled. I have four dachshunds and finding competent, trustworthy caregivers for them when I have to be away is difficult, usually resulting in me taking all four dogs to their veterinarian to be boarded. While this may sound like a satisfactory arrangement – after all, they’re with their doctor – two of my dogs have serious separation anxiety and any change in their regular routine upsets the balance that we have learned to maintain.

Catherine has taken the time to get to know my dogs, to learn their quirks and foibles. Her assistance with them has been a life saver for me. She expends the effort to learn the special needs of each dog, their health issues (which include one with epilepsy), their psychological issues (two with separation anxiety and one with trust and socialization issues), and other special needs (one is a puppy who is still learning), instilling me with confidence that she will be prepared if something unusual comes up while she is in charge. That Catherine is available means that I am able to leave my dogs in their comfortable, secure, and familiar environment while I am away. I am secure in the knowledge that she is the next best thing to me being there myself.

My dogs and I are all very happy that Catherine is there for us when we need her. They adore her, and I can’t think of any better testimonial than their unconditional trust in her.

Once again, thank you for taking such good care of our “babies” while we were vacationing.  It’s wonderful to know that when we’re away, our 2 cats and our very particular Chihuahua are happy and healthy.

We were very impressed the first time we met that you took special care getting to know our pets.  You are the “Mary Poppins” of pet sitters.  You have a special rapport with the animals.

We are also completely comfortable leaving our home in your care.  You’ve proven that you take security seriously-even assigning a number to our house key instead of a tag with an address.   You are easy to reach by phone and have even called us with daily reports.

We always feel some guilt when boarding our pets at a kennel.  It’s stressful for them (and for us).  Using your service allows us to keep our pets in their familiar surroundings and not be separated from one another.  We highly recommend your services!

Catherine- Thanks so much for taking such good care of Katie while we were away for our niece's wedding. Even though we have a doggie door, and we leave the TV on, I worry about Katie going the entire weekend without seeing a friendly face and getting some special attention. She just gets so lonely! But we enjoyed ourselves on this trip, knowing you were spending time with her. I've told several neighbors about your service and they are planning to call you the next time they go out of town. I told them to be sure and call early, especially with the holidays almost here!
